Fall Makeup Routine
I wanted to share an updated makeup routine for you guys! I feel like I’m always trying and finding new products I love, and I typically switch up some products through the seasons. Anywho, I’ve outlined everything I use below including all the shade names! Xx
Primer: I recently got this DIBS Beauty skin perfecter and I’m obsessed!!! It blurs out any imperfections and makes your skin look so glowy and flawless. I use shade 2 - Loves Me, Loves Me Not. I also love to use the elf primer if I’m doing a full face and need it to last ALL day!
Foundation: I like to use a few different ones depending on my plans for the day lol. I love the Haus Lab foundation for a medium coverage. I use shade Light Medium Neutral. It’s lightweight but still gives great coverage and is super buildable. I also love the ITCosmetics CC cream, and I use shade Light Medium. It’s a little bit thicker and provides amazing coverage!
Eyebrow: I like to start out with the elf clear brow gel then go in with the benefit brow and a pencil if needed. If I’m doing a '“no-makeup” look I’ll just do a swipe of the benefit brow.
Concealer: As a base, I like to use the Tarte dark circle defense. If you suffer from dark circles this product is INCREDIBLE! Even when I don’t wear makeup I like to use this to brighten my undereyes. When I do full face days, I use this first and then go in with my normal concealer. I got the Giorgio Armani concealer about 4 months ago and WOW. Worth every penny. I like to mix 2 shades, 1.5 and 5.25, and it provides the best coverage. It’s lightweight and buildable!
Eyeshadow: I have been loving Tarte’s Golden Era Amazonia Clay sets. There’s a pinky toned one and a brown toned one that I’ve been using and the colors are perfection. I like to mix the lighter brown and pink shades for the perfect mix! The palette shade names are Bejeweled and Elegance.
Eyeliners: The Tarte brown liner is my go-to! I switched to using brown liner either beginnig of this year or end of last year and WOW. It’s made the biggest difference in the best way. It just compliments my eyes so much better and doesn’t look too harsh. And, for my lower waterline I LOVE the Tarte Fake Awake! It helps brighten your eyes so much!
Cream bronzer/blush: I will forever use the DIBS Desert Island Duo for my cream bronzer and blush. Shades 5.5 and 2.5 are my go-tos.
Liquid bronzer/blush: If I need a little bit more bronzer I like the tarte shape tape bronzer! I use shade Rich Cool Bronze. For liquid blush, the Rare beauty one is sooo good but a little goes a LONG way..trust me ;) I use shade Happy.
Powder bronzer/blush: I recently switched to the DIBS Beauty powder bronzer in the Spiced Chai shade and it’s gorgeous!! Gives the perfect glowy bronzed look. I don’t think there’s a DIBS product I don’t love. They’re all amazing!! Oh and for powder blush I looove the Iconic London one in shade Kissed by the Sun.
Setting Powder: Huda Beauty loose powder setting powder is the BEST! I use shade Sugar Cookie. It will last you forever and it just gives the most beautiful matte/airbrush finish. If I’m using a pressed powder, I like the Charlotte Tilbury one.
Setting Spray: the nyx matte setting spray is what I use after I do my cream/liquid blush and bronzer, before setting powder! And then, at the very end of my makeup I use the OneSize setting spray and when I’m telling you your makeup won’t budge, trust me ;) It’s sooo good!
Highlighter: I just got the Rare Beauty highligher in shade mesmorize and love it!!
Mascara: the Tarte tubing mascara is by far the best mascara I’ve tried. Your lashes will be LASHING lol. And I love that it doesn’t flake off or transfer to our lids. It stays put all day!
Lip: I feel like I’m constantly changing my lip combo lol but my current favorite is the makeup forever liner in shade Wherever Walnut, with the KISSING Charlotte Tilbury lipstick and then the Elf oil in shade Jam Session on top. THE PRETTIEST COMBO!
